Overview SOSi is seeking a strategic and dynamic Program Manager to lead critical initiatives for our customer in Charleston, SC. This pivotal role supports large-scale, enterprise-wide financial and compensation systems crucial to advancing the U.S. government’s global foreign affairs missions. Strategic Importance of the Role: This position is crucial not only for maintaining the operational integrity the customer's financial systems but also for leading strategic initiatives that enhance global financial operations. The Program Manager will spearhead efforts to modernize and secure financial systems, reduce costs through technological advancements, and ensure compliance with federal regulations. The role demands a visionary leader who can navigate complex challenges and drive significant advancements in financial management technologies. Essential Job Duties Direct comprehensive management of all aspects of the program, ensuring strategic alignment with the customer's objectives and operational excellence in financial and compensation system supports. Oversee the integration, enhancement, and operational management of PeopleSoft and other ERP systems, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency improvements. Act as the primary liaison with government senior officials, effectively communicating program goals, progress, and strategic importance to all stakeholders. Strategically manage resource allocation across the program to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring optimal deployment of both human and technological resources. Identify potential risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to ensure the stability and security of financial systems. Utilize advanced analytics to monitor program performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed all operational targets. Minimum Requirements Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). Minimum of 20 years in program management within a government contracting environment, with substantial experience in managing large-scale IT and ERP implementations, with recent and relevant experience implementing large scale Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management solutions. Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), SAFe Agilist, with a preference for additional certifications in Agile methodologies. Active Top-Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications Proficient in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM applications, with a strong background in managing financial management systems integrations, upgrades, and cloud migrations. Proven ability to mentor and lead teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to tackle complex problems with innovative solutions. Demonstrated experience in aligning program objectives with broader organizational goals, enhancing overall mission success. Additional certifications in Agile methodologies. Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
