Position Overview:
The Program Director will provide senior leadership oversight of HomeServe’s Business Transformation and Platform Modernization program and underlying initiatives. The Program Director is responsible for managing inter-program dependencies to achieve HomeServe’s strategic and transformation objectives and provide leadership in project governance and execution of best practices to continuously support the transformation initiatives.
The role involves reporting to and working with executive and senior leadership, managing and overseeing the execution of governance practices essential for program success, directly and indirectly managing program resources, and addressing and resolving escalated team issues. The role involves, but is not limited to, program planning, team management, budget management, performance monitoring, compliance reporting and change communications.
Responsibilities:
Program Governance
Lead the day-to-day execution of program governance per the established framework that outlines decision-making processes, reporting structures, and accountability mechanisms Hold HomeServe program resources accountable to operate within defined Roles and responsibilities for project governance, including steering committees, project sponsors, and project managers Track key technical and product metrics across the program to improve the flow of work, identify areas of delivery risk, and identify mitigations to keep the program on track Liaise with the Program Management Office to contribute to planning and review of ‘business as usual’ (e.g. non-program) projects, identifying the implications on program workstream delivery Supervise the program to ensure it achieves the desired results and report to Executive Leadership Communicate project status, decisions, and risks with internal client stakeholders Identify potential risks throughout the program and develop strategies to mitigate them
People & Change Leadership
Lead the adoption of standardized project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall Oversee the development and control of change management and governance practices and frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, reliability, integrity, and mitigate identified risks Support change activities by promoting and educating the business on the transformation and value proposition to facilitate stronger collaboration and support amongst functions Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate what went well and identify areas for improvement Encourage leadership at all levels and promote a culture of accountability and ownership Plan and manage vendor relations for program
Functional & Technical Alignment
Oversee the allocation, management, and monitoring of assigned internal and external project resources to ensure deliverables are completed on time; forecast internal resource capacity by tracking the progress of projects across the portfolio; monitor project execution to ensure project management methodologies are followed Oversee quality control processes to ensure project deliverables and activities meet business requirements Oversee ongoing measurement and reporting of project health parameters and change order request processes Direct the continual review, identification, and prioritization of project risks and issues to ensure appropriate management and mitigation Direct the resolution of escalated team issues (e.g. programs, strategy)
Financial & Benefit Management
Direct and manage the budget for the transformation program and related projects Develop, recommend, and direct the management of the transformation operating and capital budgets, and monitor expenditures to ensure control within approved budget limitations; review and report on budget period financial tracking Oversee fiscal management of the capital assets and people resources used in the transformation program Manage departmental procurement and contract management processes Oversee transformation initiative benefit outcomes and applicable reporting

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer science, Information Systems, or related field 7-10 years of Project Management, and/or Change Management or equivalent experience, ideally leading business facing teams at a senior level A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CBAP) is preferred Product Management certifications (SAFe, POPM, CSPO, CPO) are preferred

Salary Range: $153,749.12 - $204,998.84
Annual Bonus Potential: 20%
