SCOPE OF SERVICES: The Program Director will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of a long-term program, aligning stakeholders, managing risk, and leading organizational change initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale legacy system replacement projects and working with multiple vendors to ensure successful implementation. This role requires strong leadership, program governance expertise, risk management skills, and the ability to drive strategic business outcomes while ensuring seamless collaboration between teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Leadership & Governance
+ Lead program teams, ensuring alignment with strategic planning and execution activities.
+ Oversee program governance structures to promote accountability, engagement, and oversight.
+ Define roles and responsibilities within governance bodies, including Steering Committees, advisory boards, and working groups.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and gathering feedback.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
+ Identify, monitor, and mitigate program risks, including organizational change challenges, technical obstacles, and data migration issues.
+ Collaborate with executive leadership to proactively address program risks and roadblocks.
+ Ensure continuous process improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying them to future initiatives.
Project Execution & Change Management
+ Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
+ Work with cross-functional teams to implement change management strategies and drive user adoption of new systems and processes.
+ Partner with the Systems Integrator to ensure the successful execution of program objectives.
+ Engage with program sponsors on budget, scope, resource management, and risk mitigation.
+ Oversee all program activities, ensuring timely execution within defined budgets and compliance guidelines.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
+ PgMP Certification or Certified Project Manager credentials.
+ Minimum 10 years of experience leading large-scale software implementation projects as a senior program or project management leader.
+ At least 5 years of experience managing legacy system replacements involving multiple third-party vendors and large-scale data conversions.
+ Proven experience engaging with executives, including delivering high-level presentations and managing stakeholder expectations.
+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for different audiences.
+ Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and application release management.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
+ Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodologies and tools.
+ Ability to establish clear goals, set expectations, and drive execution.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, complexities, and deadlines without compromising quality.
+ Strong facilitation skills for meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
