Job Posting Title: Program Director of Regulatory Readiness Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday Shift: Days Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + Assist with the development of a comprehensive Regulatory Readiness Program + Develop meaningful, relevant, measurable goals for departmental operation + Develop departmental plan which is based on an ongoing evaluation of efficient and effective in the use of resources and in meeting patient/family needs; appropriate to the scope and level of care required by the patients served; timely and designed to be responsive to the needs and expectations of patients/families; commensurate with the organization's primary functions, mission, values, and goals + Coordinate and integrate inter and intra-departmental services as it relates to Survey Readiness and all aspects of Patient Experience + Responsible for the formation, review, and revision of guidelines, policies, procedures, and programs in collaboration with operational leaders across SRC + Demonstrate effective human resource management skills for the attainment of departmental and hospital goals according to the mission and vision of the organization + Facilitate and support family-centered patient care activities and delivery of care to patients across all of SRC + Identify organizational opportunities for further support staff development of Regulatory Readiness + Foster communication between and among individuals across the organization and coordinating internal activities to drive engagement in all aspects of survey readiness + Provide adequate time for staff to participate in performance improvement activities + Ensure a safe environment for staff, patients/families, and visitors through frequent rounds + Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer in the oversight, development, implementation, and evaluation of organizational preparation and readiness for all regulatory requirements and patient experience efforts + Objectively evaluate staffing requirements and provide input to the annual operating budget + Effectively manage resources to stay within budget while providing support services which meet or exceed standards for quality Required Skills/Abilities + Bachelor’s degree Nursing required; master's degree preferred + RN candidate, must hold a current Texas RN license or is eligible for a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing + Minimum of 4 years of progressive management experience required + Previous experience with regulatory readiness and patient experience preferred + Pediatric/Children’s Hospital experience preferred.
