The Program Equity Research Analyst provides a comprehensive analysis of crash data and other traffic safety-related information to meet the needs of stakeholders. The role will contribute to improving the Office of Traffic Safety's (OTS) problem identification and program delivery efforts through the application of statistical techniques and research methodologies. Using programming skills to analyze large databases, this position will generate critical insights into traffic crashes in Minnesota, with a particular focus on identifying disparities and promoting equity in traffic safety outcomes. The role will involve researching and analyzing trends related to traffic safety equity, ensuring that all communities, particularly those that are underserved or disproportionately affected by traffic-related incidents, are adequately addressed in safety strategies . The findings will inform data-driven decisions and support the development of targeted initiatives that improve traffic safety for all Minnesotans. **Minimum Qualifications** _To ensure proper crediting, please include a cover letter and ensure your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed below and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each position held._ + One* year of research experience collecting, analyzing, and managing datasetsOR three years of experience providing administrative or technical support in an area of research working with, or facilitating research. + Experience with statistical software and/or business intelligence platforms such as SAS, SPSS, Power BI SQL, GCP, equivalent software to conduct quantitative or statistical analysis. + Ability to manage datasets of varying sizes, including the ability to merge datasets, and extract and clean raw data. + Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities.
