Key areas of responsibility:
Clearly define and lead Community of Practice for PMO segment’s leaders, program/project managers and LPIs, to create Center of Excellence for Program Management, to strengthen our Program Leadership Pipeline, and for driving execution rigor across Imaging teams.
Servant Leadership - Mentor & Coach critical individual Program Core Team members, as requested.
Attain mastery with GE Healthcare’s PRD (Phase Review Discipline) process and drive alignment across programs execution through training, coaching, and mentoring.
Bootcamps Ownership & Facilitation:
Own and be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the Bootcamp Agenda and Materials. Continue to evolve and improve the materials.
Help train and develop more Bootcamp SME’s across the business (PMO’s, other experienced Program Leaders).
Deliver Leadership Training & Bootcamp “Train the Trainer” sessions at the Program and/or Organizational level.
Work with SBU’s and Program Core Teams to structure Bootcamp working sessions aligned with their needs. Provide embedded help to assure alignment of scope, operating mechanisms, and execution clarity amongst all relevant stake holders.
Actively engage with and guide the team after the Bootcamp working sessions until the deliverables are completed, and all objectives have been met.
Spearhead adoption of Program Management tools around program planning, budget control, risks management, time estimates, conflict resolution, and communications to drive standardization across Imaging and help drive sense of urgency around execution.
Ensure best practices of Program Management are followed across the Division, with the goal of delivering products of high quality and value to the organization within the agreed-upon metrics of schedule, resources, budget and scope.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of Program Excellence initiatives and measure improvements over time.
Explore and evaluate AI technologies and tools that can be leveraged to optimize program management processes, increase automation, and drive efficiencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities to streamline program management processes and improve operational efficiencies.
Education:
Bachelors degree in engineering, science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10+ years' experience in a complex global organization, with a minimum of 8 years directing, leading, or managing large, cross-functional programs within the Medical Device industry.
Emphasis in healthcare, medical equipment or Industrial engineering (secondary) with PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
MBA preferred.
Skills and Experience:
Must have led multi-year complex projects and launches in healthcare, working in global environment.
Solid financial and analytical skills
Strong track record of meeting objectives with a sense of urgency, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Ability to collaborate and work across a heavily matrixed environment and can communicate effectively and concisely at all levels.
Experience with technology development and integration efforts
Executive presence; strong presentation and communication skills. Strong Coaching/Teaching/Mentorship skills and experience.
For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $161,920.00-$242,880.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
