Find your purpose! Come be part of the new Early Childhood Partial Hospitalization Program, a first in the Midwest to provide care for patients ages 3-5 years old!  Clara’s House is in the process of expanding our building to open an Early Childhood Unit.  Early identification and treatment for children ages 3-5 who are experiencing severe emotional, physiological, behavioral, and /or developmental difficulties that impact their ability to function at home, preschool, childcare, or community settings. 

The Clara’s House Early Childhood Hospitalization Program will provide an opportunity to intervene early, by providing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment interventions, which are particularly important during the early childhood years.  The program will also enhance responsive caregiver-child relationships and effective parenting skills during the child’s earliest years of life which is crucial for promoting foundational child development and wellbeing.  

Schedule Full-time | 64-80 hours every two weeks | Clara's House  Monday - Friday | 6:45 am - 3:15 pm | No weekends or major holidays Anticipated start date: December 2024 - January 2025 
  Pay and Benefits $18.90 or more per hour, pay determined by experience  Full-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!
  Qualifications  Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or Minimum of five years of related experience assisting in running groups, program and material design required Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) initial and on-going training required and provided Entry level skills and knowledge in the provision of therapeutic education and activities Knowledge of medical and psychiatric diagnosis and the associated symptoms Ability to teach a variety of education and creative activities
