Program Financial Analyst
Job Descriptions: The Program Finance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the financial health of the Mach-TB program including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and identifying potential financial risks by utilizing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to program leadership to optimize program performance and achieve financial goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts to support our financial planning and analysis activities. JOB SKILLS: + Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial statement analysis with skill in financial concepts and math. + Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. + Proficiency in creating and utilizing financial models to forecast performance and evaluate scenarios. + Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and FAR regulations. + Ability to create data visualizations for reporting purposes. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present financial information to diverse stakeholders. + Ability to manage multiple program budgets and deadlines simultaneously. + Expertise in Microsoft Excel, financial management systems, and data analysis tools. + Knowledge of Sharepoint, CostPoint and Cognos reporting tools. + Experience in EVM or EV-lite analysis and tracking SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: No Required Experience: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: The Program Finance Analyst shall be knowledgeable of overall organization, direction, and requirements of the contract efforts. Experience in interfacing directly with the designated government or commercial customer representatives and supervising various task order activities is preferred. + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field. + Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Federal government contracting and finance roles. + Detail oriented with expertise in program control, finance, cost estimating and financial analysis + Proficiency in variance analysis, financial metrics, and program life cycle management. + Strong knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, and data visualization best practices. + Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities + US Citizenship required. + Active Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): + Experience utilizing PowerBi to develop insightful dashboards and reports a plus. + Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. + Experience working with OTA contracts, CPFF and FFP awards #LI-AC1 #LI-Onsite Keyword: Finance, Cost, CostPoint, Cognos Kratos Defense is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
