We are hiring a **Program Implementation Manager** in the Western States Region. This is a remote position that has the flexibility to be based in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah or Washington.
As the Program Implementation Manager, you will make an extraordinary impact by working with staff to advance strategic region priorities starting with Nation of Lifesavers. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Health and works closely with internal partners across the region to build and drive region-wide community readiness initiatives, be responsible for the development and implementation of chain of survival impact strategies, and support issues-based fundraising with a focus on CPR related products. **This scope of the role may change to other strategic priorities based on the needs of the region.**

**Responsibilities**
The Program Implementation Manager is responsible for driving project management for the Nation of Lifesavers initiative and other strategic priorities in the Western States region. The position leads strategy implementation and alignment across the region of issue priorities, fundraising, partnerships, volunteer management, event execution, and training coordination. This includes leading and coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to market consultation and monitoring and closing.
+ **Project Planning and Implementation:** Serve as a leader in the region for assigned strategic priorities including Nation of Lifesavers, leading priorities and working collaboratively with Health Strategies and market development teams to successfully advance projects and impact goals. Develops and implements comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management strategies for each project part. Plans, oversees, and facilitates assigned health initiatives including presentations, sponsorship deliverables, logistics, tracking, and promotion.
+ **Systems Management:** Develops and implements organizational systems, workflows, and procedures vital to the smooth operation of projects across the region. Works with market staff to uncover and document best practices and actively shares with region-wide partners. Supports markets in crafting impact storytelling resources for return on investment reports, Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team meetings, and other volunteer communications needs.
+ **Risk Management:** Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Monitors and addresses risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery.
+ **Progress Monitoring and Analysis:** Analyzes region to identify areas of opportunities, needs, and market readiness to implement project. Tracks project progress against established milestones and deliverables across a variety of platforms. Provides regular status updates to partners and senior management, highlighting achievements, issues, and risks.
+ **Closure and Evaluation:** Implements project closure activities, including final deliverable acceptance, documentation, and lessons learned. Conducts post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement, best practices, and next steps.
+ **Market Consultation:** Advises on, facilitates, and supports the planning and execution of the project goals, progress, and deliverables for all markets in alignment with region goals. Provide Executive Directors and market leaders with tools to integrate Nation of Lifesavers and other strategic health opportunities in an issues-based fundraising proposal. Communicate effectively with collaborators at all levels, providing expertise, coaching, budget recommendations, and strategic guidance. Facilitates cross-departmental collaboration and implementation, ensuring Community Impact and Communications teams are engaged. Influences the utilization of volunteer committee(s) to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of issues-based fundraising efforts. Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts as needed.
+ **Strategy Development:** Identifies gaps and develops internal and external strategies to extend CPR and health efforts in local communities through donor funding. Assists with market Evaluation and Planning meetings as needed. Supports teams across the region to achieve Nation of Lifesavers goals and priorities. Works alongside current staff to integrate and align all project streams. Builds and sustains the American Heart Association brand profile through coordinated issues-based materials. Works collaboratively with the larger consulting team.
+ Performs other duties as the need arises or assigned which are reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the job level and family.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
+ 2+ years of project management experience in similar capacity.
+ Ability to analyze data, recognize trends and recommend initiatives to improve outcomes.
+ Knowledge of the social determinants of health as it relates to behavior modification through self-care activities and policy/system-wide changes is preferred.
+ General knowledge of fundraising practices and/or corporate social impact sponsorship development is preferred.
+ Effective interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working relationships internally and externally.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Ability to travel occasionally within the region approximately 5% of the time.
**Compensation & Benefits**
Expected pay range will be $52,300 to $69,700 annually. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
