Position Description:\n\nHas a strong understanding of PTC Creo Schematics and PTC Creo Parametric with Piping and Cabling Extension (PCX), Harness Manufacturing Extension (HMS) and Windchill PLM for electrical design and documentation. \nUses CAD software (PTC CREO) to document electrical design and will suggest and implement improvements in design methods and procedures.\nAbility to communicate and work in an integrated team of Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, CAD designers, electrical integrators and technicians throughout the design, build, test and fielding process. Must have experience in:\n\nCreo Schematics\nCreo Parametric \nCreo Piping and Cabling Extension (PCX)\nWindchill PLM\nMicrosoft 365\nAbility to read and create electrical CAD modesl and drawings\n\n\nWorks closely with design originators, preparing CAD\/CAM drawings\/models of unusual, complex, or original designs, which require a high degree of precision. \nPerforms unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and drafting expertise. \nAssures that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved by the drawing produced. \nAbility to support Govt in planning, cost\/risk analysis, design, engineering and\/or logistics planning (as required)\nProvides integration of design throughout life cycle of assigned weapon system. \nProvides technical oversight of assigned program initiatives. \nEnsures effective program implementation. Analyzes, balances, and reconciles program requirements with available resources. \nCoordinates, integrates, presents and defends assigned programs. . \nExercises independent judgment in selecting and interpreting data based on knowledge of the design intent.\nWorks and performs in an independent working environment directly supporting customers.\n\n
Required:\n\nRequires BS in Engineering, Business, Accounting or a related scientific \/ technical discipline; however, direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. \nMust have 8 years' experience.\nMust have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.\n\n
Preferred Qualifications:\n\nFamiliarity with military specifications and standards, SAE standards, and IPC\/WHMA-A-620\nHave 5-7 years' experience using PTC Creo with cable harness routing.\n\n
