SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force.  Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective, and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients’ challenges.

 

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients’ success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, and strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

 

Within the SLA Division, Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 80 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy’s Team SUBS office.

 

Responsibilities

SPA is seeking multiple dedicated Program Management Analysts to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane (NSWC Crane).

 

The Program Management Analyst is responsible to the government Program Manager for the overall planning, direction, and management of major programs and initiatives within the organization. These programs are typically large, multi-year efforts that are divided into several sub-programs or tasks, and the Program Manager is responsible for defining the program's objectives, developing short and long-term plans, and formulating and guiding the technical approach. This position will support the Program Manager in reaching these objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

Assist in development and management of the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long-term plansFormulate, guide, and assist with the technical approach for the programManage technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costsAssist in securing necessary resources for the program, including personnel, budget, and equipmentManage risks and issues that may arise during the course of the programEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsCommunicate program progress and status to stakeholdersManage changes to the program's scope, schedule, or budgetLead and manage a team of project managers and technical staff, as applicable

 A hybrid work environment is allowed, but you must have the ability to regularly work on-site at NSWC Crane, Indiana.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline4-15 years of relevant experience DoD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it
