Serco is seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to serve as a Program Management Office Action Officer supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Industrial Operations Directorate (SEA 04). In this role, you will support the execution of organizational objectives by performing critical administrative, analytical, and operational tasks. This hybrid position will be located in Washington, DC - Washington Navy Yard.
This position is contingent upon your ability to transfer and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

In this role, you will:
Communicating effectively and delivering high-quality documentation free from errors; strong attention to detail.Preparing, producing, and providing briefings and presentation materials for leadership.Assisting with the creation and editing of articles, news releases, fact sheets, talking points, and other written content.Organizing material and completing writing assignments according to established standards of clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.Reviewing and editing material prepared by others, recommending revisions to improve scope, format, and content.Writing, editing, and formatting Fitness Reports (FITREPs) and military and civilian awards, including creating, revising, routing, and delivering content.Reviewing, formatting, and routing correspondence for signature and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.Managing and updating tracking systems for action items and correspondence.Preparing draft minutes or verbal reports from conferences and meetings.Coordinating audio/visual and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) support for classified and unclassified meetings.Acting as a liaison between departments, ensuring deadlines are met and projects progress efficiently.Conducting research, analyzing data, and providing policy or operational recommendations to support decision-making.Identifying potential problems, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions promptly.Maintaining accurate records, document management systems, and providing timely updates to stakeholders. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in technical writing, communications, program management, or business management. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Navy or DoD environments preferred.An active Secret level clearance is required. Candidate is required to be on site three days a week at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY).Up to 10% of travel for CONUS/OCONUS is required.Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a government-issued CAC.Experience in both administrative analysis and operational coordination, including the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:Knowledge of DoD program management, technical, or business management.Demonstrated ability to draft, coordinate, and present papers, briefings, and presentations at the Flag Officer/SES level.Familiarity with military correspondence, Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and Fitness Reports (FITREPs).Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with experience analyzing complex data and making sound decisions.If you are interested in working in a highly diverse, engaging and challenging environment - then submit your application now for immediate consideration. In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary for this role is $84,842.18 to $137,867.51 however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
