Job DescriptionGDIT is currently seeking Program Management Office Lead in Washington, DC to oversee program finance, resource management, and other key deliverables. The selected candidate must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability, per contract requirements.
A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the following functional responsibilities is required:
Directs all financial management and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning, and financial reporting.
Oversees ISS staffing, coordinating with internal and external staffing partners, and facilitating weekly meetings to provide and receive updates
Oversees administrative tasks associated with all on-boarding and off-boarding of contractor staff, ensuring all processes are met and all documents are received by the government
Assist program managers with data supporting the development of spend plans, budgets, and schedules feed into finance analyst's budgets and forecasts
Performs complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues, which would require a report and recommend solutions.
Develops work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems.
Ad Hoc program reporting
Assist in development of Basis of Estimates
Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
Analyzing program policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize
Drafting new or revised program polices of procedures
Preparing and presenting reports, deliverables, and recommendations
Complete and/or Review Expense Reports, Travel requests
Initiated Purchase Requisitions
Prepare/submit special pay requests
Gather and prepare data in support of invoicing backup
Setup and administer program SubTime, Steps/Setris including resolving time discrepancies
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
BA or equivalent relevant experience and a minimum 5 years of experience in PMO management and coordination on a large, fast paced government program with budgetary and resource management duties among primary areas of responsibility
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills
Experience in data analysis and analytics presentation software tools
Proven ability to standardize/organize program documentation, retrieve information quickly and maintain a high degree of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively brief senior leadership audiences
