Work hard, have fun, and make history with Amazon’s Legal team. We are looking for a smart and motivated individual to provide program management to our Legal Operations and Litigation group. We support various functions of legal operations including shared services, employee experience (e.g., onboarding and offboarding), notary, records management, and continuing legal education. Responsibilities include providing front line support for our team, researching and routing legal correspondence, regularly auditing program metrics, assisting in the application and training of legal tools/systems, and other general administration and project management to support Legal Operations and Litigation teams where needed.
The successful candidate will focus on customers, solve problems, and pay great attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines and remaining flexible to switch gears as necessary. They must possess the ability to work efficiently and independently as the maintain operational functions for Legal. This person will manage a high volume of tasks and projects with minimal guidance; respond quickly and appropriately to urgent requests; take effective action without knowing the full picture; and think creatively and proactively to streamline work life within the department. The candidate must exercise a high level of professionalism, integrity, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Sharepoint and M365 tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Comfort with learning new programs and software
- Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts and thinking big to solve problems
- Legal administrative experience is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
