We're seeking an Operations Program Manager to build and manage operational processes for talent partnerships spanning Amazon Originals, Prime Video, Audible, Amazon Games, Twitch, Amazon Music, and beyond. This role will work across multiple teams, including Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Operations, and will build mechanisms and develop tools from scratch, resolve escalations, and identify and drive projects to improve cross-business talent deal velocity and program execution.
Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will lead cross-functional program management for multi-business talent deals across Media & Entertainment, Retail, and Ads. In support of business affairs and talent relationship managers, they will develop and maintain comprehensive tracking systems, own project timelines, deliverables, and communication strategies across all stakeholder levels, and project manage deal development and execution phases of talent partnerships. They will be expected to proactively identify compliance requirements and risks, and manage mitigations by establishing policies, processes, and mechanisms. Operational tasks will include:
• Gantt chart, workback plan, and timeline management
• Communication strategy development and execution
• Airtable database management
• PO creation, SIM ticket management, and contract coordination using Amazon systems (e.g., Contract Central, Amazon Approvals)
• Sprint stand-ups and delivery tracking
• Marketing and Ad Ops program management
• Performance tracking and reporting across lines of business
The ideal candidate has knowledge of the talent industry and experience working across businesses to align on goals for each project. They should also have a solid understanding of business accounting concepts and possess deep understanding of how to navigate operations within a large organization. They must have an operational and analytical mindset, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop and scale innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Because we’re building a new function, this role will evolve throughout the years and the ideal candidate embraces change, thrives in ambiguous roles, and consistently looks for opportunities to invent and simplify.
