Program Manager, Field Development - REMOTE for US based candidates
**Salary Range** : $105,700 - $158,500 Annual **Job Details** The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus eligible. Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company is seeking a Program Manager, Field Development to be accountable for the thought leadership, strategy development, project management, design, delivery, and overall effectiveness of sales and leadership development programs. This position partners with the Optavise Career Agency (OCA) and CNO Business Unit leaders to provide programs that help drive sales growth, recruiting, retention and compliance. While some companies are maintaining status quo, we’re scaling up. **As a Program Manager, Field Development,** **your responsibilities will include:** + Design and implement a wide variety of learning and development initiatives using proven sources of content, best practices in training design and diverse delivery methods to address skills and development for associates within the OCA. + Facilitate delivery of sales training and learning and development content, including, but not limited to: in-person classroom instruction, live virtual training, and in-market field demonstration for OCA Field Managers. + Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders to understand business goals to identify development needs and solutions, and to ensure initiatives are aligned. + Implement project plans for program development and transition to attain desired outcomes and accomplish objectives including ideation, project management, budget oversight and change management. + Measure the ongoing effectiveness of programs against key business objectives; includes learning approach, program content, and relevant KPIs. + Research and implement new assessment and feedback tools to provide stronger development insights and feedback loop for learners. + Provide an outside-in approach to the CNO learning strategy by leveraging industry best practices, innovation, competitive insight, and successful change management techniques to successfully partner with field leadership and business unit leaders. + Ability to work, collaborate, and contribute to overall mission of the team; working across strategy team and development areas to deliver results in non-hierarchical environment. **The Program Manager, Field Development position** **is well-suited for you if you:** + Possess solid sales training facilitation skills, including in-market demonstration of sales techniques with field leaders. + Understand Learning and Development principles including program consulting and design thinking. + Translate strategic goals into appropriate development programs, and to meet and manage the changing priorities of the organization. + Manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment. + Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Demonstrate strong program/project management skills, specifically regarding developing sales and sales management programs. + Have experience launching new sales growth programs that require significant rep/agent behavior change and adoption. + Effectively influence others to adopt new ways of working. + Design and scale selling systems through distribution teams. **What you’ll need:** + High School Diploma + 7 years of experience in Organization Effectiveness, Program/Project Management, or Leadership Development. + Ability and Willingness to travel up to 30% to interact with OCA sales teams. + Experience leading field and live virtual training. + Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills. **What will set you apart:** + Bachelor’s degree. + Active Insurance License in resident state or ability to attain. + Proven insurance sales expertise and experience opening new accounts and coaching others to do the same. + 7+ years of experience in the worksite/voluntary benefits market. + 5 years of sales training experience, both classroom and field training. + Track-record of successfully leading sales teams. + Worksite/Voluntary benefits product and underwriting knowledge.
