This will be a hybrid role based out of the Banfield Pet Hospital headquarters in Vancouver, WA. Remote candidates who meet all requirements may be considered.
Salary Range: $75,029 - $103,165 (based on experience & location)
Summary and Qualifications:
Lead and support the creation, evaluation, effectiveness, and sustainability of practice wide leadership development programs increasing leaders’ capabilities, operational performance, and Associate experience.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.Develop and implement programs that support objectives in the area of leadership development.Set clear objectives and measures, monitors progress and results, and designs feedback loops into all programs.Coordinate with Director and other key stakeholders to identify, analyze, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of projects and programs, when applicable.Partner with subject matter resources within the organization for creation of functional skill-based leadership content.Partner with Talent team and makes recommendations for Banfield Associate participation within Mars Leadership Programs.Strategic planning and execution for leadership development programs in current state, future state, and beyond.Collaborate with Field People & Organization (P&O) team to maintain hospital centricity within all programs.Maintain key vendor relationships and contracts.Partner and support Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) leadership programs and initiatives, leading the implementation and ongoing execution at the Banfield business unit level.Facilitate meetings and trainings both in person and virtual.Participate in Banfield leadership development events (National Field Leadership Conference).Other job duties as assigned.Special Working Conditions:
Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time. Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.Environment where pets are present.Experience, Education and/or Training:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Project Management, or a related field is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Four years of Learning & Development experience are required.Experience with Learning & Development delivery is required.Project Management experience, preferably including managing projects through a complete project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, deployment, closure), is preferred.What We Offer – The Good Stuff:
