Program Manager, Middle Mile, AMXL JP

AMXL JP is looking for a Program Manager for expanding Middle mile network. The role will be responsible for leading the Middle mile expansion and launch planning for new stations, focusing on configuration setup and collaboration with transportation and network design teams. Key responsibilities of this role include optimizing cost to serve by activating direct connections, enhancing network CPT/CIT, and driving speed efficiencies. The PM will be responsible for benchmarking best practices, automate ordering processes, integrate new technologies, support scalability through comingling and improve process efficiency through introducing new MHE's. Additionally, the PM will be responsible for building supplementary capacity through alternative channels, support sustainability initiatives, and enforce safety standards, including building SOP compliance and stacking protocols.

Key job responsibilities
- New Launch: Expansion and Launch - Lead the launch and expansion planning for new stations, including configuration setup and coordination with ATS and network design teams.
- Cost to Serve: Lead programs critical for cost optimization and speed enhancements, such as the activation of direct connections and network configuration optimization. Improve network Cut-off Processing Time (CPT) and Critical Inventory Time (CIT) to drive cost and speed efficiencies.
- Benchmarking and automation: Benchmark and implement best practices across the ATS network and globally to ensure parity. Drive the automation of ordering processes and lead the integration of new technologies.
- Scalability: Drive programs that support network readiness for comingling multiple ship types and introduce process improvements. Lead initiatives to optimize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for Middle Mile vehicles, improving shipment handling and truck buffer space utilization (stacking efficiency). Collaborate with process engineering on CAP capacity planning based on available transport modes.
- Pilot, review, and launch new supplementary connections through alternative channels to build backup capacity and support sustainability initiatives by incorporating alternative transport modes—e.g., rail and maritime networks. Develop and enforce safety standards, including SOPs and stacking compliance.

A day in the PM role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to execute the launch and expansion of new stations.The PM will analyze network performance data to identify areas for cost and speed optimizations. The role will require you to benchmark best practices across the ATS network and implementing them. The role will lead process automation initiatives, and integrate new technologies for the growing network. Additionally, the PM will monitor scalability efforts, engage with process engineering on capacity utilization initiatives
