Program Manager, Product Development
This role is responsible for the overall direction and management of Global Development projects, processes, and protocols, including but not limited to, all new product, new package, seasonal Gift/VAP, and package redesign projects. Lead the implementation of B-F standard project portfolio management processes within the Project Management Office. Provide executive reporting and input to Step 1 of the Integrated Business Planning process. Oversee project execution involving cross-functional resources from multiple departments. Manage project resources to ensure that projects are carried out consistently and successfully in order to support corporate strategy. Manage project resources responsible for standard processes across projects and client satisfaction with project execution. Implement Brown-Forman project management policies, standards, and procedures **What You Can Expect:** ● Deploy standard B-F project management methodology, policies and procedures ● Maintain established project management technology and metrics ● Align project stakeholders via superb communications, infl uencing, and relationship building ● Develop and manage Product Development Project Managers to create high-functioning teams ● Simultaneously lead multiple projects, coordinating resources across business operating units ● Support the intake and prioritization of new projects with a focus on business strategy and resource capacity planning ● Partner with the respective Business Leaders and associated Product Development Managers to produce high-quality project deliverables ● Ensure project activities are aligned with business strategy and goals, while meeting quality, scheduling, budget, and standards requirements ● Through project deployment, foster and guide full adoption of tools and common PMO processes ● Provide leadership and training in the consistent use of the PMO methodology ● Provide accurate project timelines and ensure project activities and resources are aligned to deliver established priorities ● Participate with organizational teams to develop and measure project success criteria and return on investment ● Provide risk management oversight across the new product project portfolio ● Champion the promotion of improved inter-departmental relationships through effective project communications and practices ● Advocate for change management with an empathy for relationships and positions ● Develop self in the knowledge of Brown-Forman project methodology, skills and culture ● Support Project Managers and assigned resources in the awareness and knowledge of PMO methodology to achieve increased productivity and quality ● Contribute to the development of others on the PMO team, including direct reports **What You Bring to the Table:** ● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. ● PMP Certification ● 10+ years progressive experience in the planning and execution of medium to large scale projects involving cross functional teams ● 5+ years deploying standard project management methodology ● 5+ years of experience with Project Management Information Systems ● Advanced change leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage communication, negotiate successful outcomes, identify risks, and engage stakeholders ● Extensive experience in building detailed project plans, communicating to stakeholders, and the creation of all standard project management artifacts What Makes You Unique ● Knowledge in Supply Chain and Production processes ● Experience working in international organizations with diverse cultures, business operations and organizational needs. **Who We Are:** We believe great people build great brands.
