Program Manager, Signage & Moves , GREF Workplace Design & Construction (WD&C)
Amazon’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team is looking for a creative, innovative, results-orientated Program Manager based in Arlington, VA to envision, build and deliver two global workplace programs – Signage Enablement and Moves - that enable Amazonians to be productive throughout their workday.

GREF’s Signage Enablement program works to enable regional Design & Construction (D&C) and IFM teams to deliver high-quality, accurate and scalable signage delivery solutions across Amazon’s corporate portfolio. The program works closely with Global Design and Global Design Standards teams to monitor the effectiveness of Day1 signage deployment, in addition to providing tools and mechanisms for regional teams to manage signage implementation and lifecycle refreshes after Day 1. Our Moves Program delivers the tools, technology and standards to enable regional IFM teams to seamlessly move Amazonians from A to B with minimal downtime.

The successful candidate is an experienced and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture – providing vision, leadership, and communication – not afraid to dive deep into details. They should also understand the nuance of being approachable, while at the same time consultative – providing direction/recommendations to our regional teams and fostering transparent relationships. The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problem-solving with an emphasis on root cause.

This role requires global travel approximately 10% of the time.


Key job responsibilities
• Lead strategic development of the Global Signage Enablement and Moves programs including but not limited to: (1) identify and oversee program deliverables; (2) align the program to GREF’s 3YR plan; (3) deliver an annual roadmap and set strategic SMART goals; and (4) conceive and implement a technology roadmap.
• Identify, implement and report on continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging customer insights to drive change. Prioritize deliverables that impact customers, identifying what requires creation, re-engineering or amendment.
• Work cross-functionally with global and regional peers to ensure a consistent employee experience, whilst respecting local and cultural nuance. Ensure organizational alignment in the design and execution of initiatives.
• Ensure effective and proactive stakeholder engagement and communications through timely visibility to program developments, using customer feedback and experiences.
• Develop and build globally applicable program performance metrics, Minimum Viable Experience (MVE), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and SLAs that are constantly evolving in line with expected measures of success.
• Partner with stakeholders to deploy program pilots that allow for swift and frugal program changes in response to customer needs.
• Drive consistency and quality through robust, scalable and detailed guidelines and playbooks.
• Routinely connect to external industry and professional communities, assessing new industry standards, best practices, current/future technology, and innovations are adopted into the program.
