General Summary:
IE-IoT Program Management team is looking for a Staff Program Manager to lead camera systems and software activities. Camera solutions are an integral part of our offerings in segments such as Retail, Robotics and Consumer. As the Camera systems and software PM, you will be working with engineering, business and operations teams to establish the plan of record. You will interact with a dynamic global team on abstract problems that require complex analysis.
Role Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans.Establish process and structure to the functions of camera systems and software teamsPartner with systems and software leads to evaluate multiple product requests that come in from IoT business segmentsEstablish process to determine priority among evaluations for productsEstablish feasibility of solutions, create feature requests and transfer execution to global sitesLead planning and execution for demosAct as a facilitator/trainer to enable team adoption of tools and processes.This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in software development or camera systems5+ years of experience in technical program management in a dynamic and highly technical environmentA strong track record in managing complex cross-functional projects in a tech companyExperience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedulesMSEE plus MBAExperience defining and achieving KPIs on camera systems and softwareDeep understanding of the processes, strategies, and trade-offs in chipset and camera pipelinesDomain expertise in Linux and Android software developmentExperience partnering with customers on major projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to successfully engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to succinctly summarize key findingsKnowledge of software and hardware development process and lifecycleProven ability to multitask and prioritize critical tasks with a high attention to detailStrong meeting management and negotiating skillsExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionREQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$171,200.00 - $256,800.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
