The ESG-eX team's mission is to build a lasting, scalable and trusted ESG reporting infrastructure to satisfy regulatory requirements and stakeholders’ expectations. We translate external requirements into internal needs and build tools and mechanisms that enable Amazon businesses to meet their ESG reporting obligations and effectively manage their ESG opportunities and risks. You will be responsible for maintaining the overarching program plan, developing mechanisms that support the delivery of workstreams, regular engagement with stakeholders to facilitate program alignment. The ideal candidate will have delivered projects that are multi-year, cross-functional, and complex. You must be able to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and thrive in ambiguity and competing priorities. Key job responsibilities - Facilitate discussions with internal teams to design and test mechanisms and strategies. - Partner with internal customers to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. - Conduct deep dive analysis to identify root cause analysis for long term continuous improvements. - Document processes associated with mechanisms (SOPs, Wikis) - Manage data collection tools and mechanisms, including tracking goals, key program metrics, and forward-looking program needs. - Manage programmatic stakeholder updates About the team World Wide Sustainability (WWS) values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - Up to 25% travel. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
