Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:This position will play a pivotal role in the management and improvement of equipment and facilities projections. The program manager will prioritize divisional projects, work to acquire financial approvals, manage work flows and develop succinct, executive level reporting for each.Write persuasive, data-driven financial justification documents for capital projects that clearly express project need, project scope, schedule and budget requirements, applying quantifiable data for United’s fleet of ground service equipment (GSE) and facility assets.Prioritize list of projects to improve efficiency of capital and opex funding; lead collaborator involvement and expectationsDefine, track, and communicate project scope, schedule, and budget using tools, and develop new reports. Collect necessary documentation for grant funding/compliance.Assist with equipment procurement, contract development/support, Coupa/systems management, vendor audits, and Accounts Payable vendor setups to meet needs of GSE and Facilities groupAssist with equipment procurement, contract development/support, Coupa/systems management, vendor audits, and Accounts Payable vendor setups to meet needs of GSE and Facilities groupProduce executive-level presentations for various scheduled and ad-hoc events

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Engineering, Finance, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, or relevant work experienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, finance, business managementProven expertise in project management, finance, process improvementStrong analytical skills with experience in data analyticsExcellent project management capabilities, able to lead process through data-driven insightsAdvanced skills with productivity and collaboration tools including MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Business AdministrationPMPProficient in analytical tools such as: Microsoft Project, SQL, Power BI, Oracle, Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft Forms, etc.
