What you will be doing 

The Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation team is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing large scale projects across a multi-year capital deployment roadmap.   

The ideal candidate will play a key role in strategic operations projects and program management, supporting new and ongoing projects within supply chain through active management of milestones, tasks, communications, engagement with key partners and applying subject matter expertise to plan and execute on critical components of the Albertsons supply chain vision.   

You have an ownership mindset and are looking to learn, share, teach, and grow with the team.  You recognize the value and importance of taking holistic views of the projects within your own purview and understand where and how links are made. 

The position will be hybrid and could be based in any of our division office locations. 

 

Main responsibilities 

Develop and execute project plans, timelines, communications, and budgets for Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation projects.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, DC operations, finance, labor relations, replenishment, retail ops, etc. to ensure program objectives are achieved.  Define program and project scopes and requirements and manage risks and issues.  Drive change management and stakeholder engagement activities.  Manage/Monitor project budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of project milestones.  Identify deviations from project plans and develop corrective actions to stay on track.  Coordinate and lead project meetings and workshops  Evaluate project outcomes and be a part of developing process improvements to optimize supply chain performance.

The salary range is $95,400 to $123,900 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.  There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.  

 

What we are searching for 

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.  Minimum of 3 years of experience in program & project management.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.  Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and delivering on-time and within budget.  Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.  Knowledge of supply chain processes, systems, and best practices.  Knowledge of supply chain warehouse management systems/software preferred.  Experience with project management tools and methodologies.  PMP or other project management certification preferred.   Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.  Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple, dynamic priorities with strong sense of urgency; able to deliver under pressure; ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet all deadlines and expectations.   Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team  Travel 50%.
