Job Title:  Program Manager – Tactical Communications

Location: ADS Headquarters (Virginia Beach, VA) - Not Remote

While continually learning, collaborating, and partnering with all your C5ISR team members, together you will drive sales and company growth. You will develop relationships with government customers at all levels: end-users, Contracting Officers, Program Managers, Logisticians, etc. while creatively addressing your customers' problems, building custom solutions, and being their true advocate throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

 Responsibilities:

Directly interface with the subcontractors and/or U.S. Government on contractual issues: Host Kick-off meetings and program reviews as directed or requested by customers. Work quality assurance paperwork, attend inspection and acceptance meetings. Analyze and provide risk mitigation techniques to prevent supply chain disruption. Ensure solution configurations meet customer requirements. Overcome issues with end-of-life products. Proactively manage Integrated Master Schedules to avoid unforeseen technical/contractual issues. Ensure contractual compliance; emphasis on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12 and part 15 procedures. Initiate change management processes: coordinate with OEMs, customers, and ADS Sales & Purchasing to ensure compliance with FAT, PDR, CDR, etc. Ensure flow-down terms and conditions are accurate and agreed upon with subcontractors. Provide the timely and efficient resolution of customer disputes or discrepancies. Timely input and retrieval of contract information to/from electronic portals. Work with Program Finance to accurately forecast and track invoices through to payment. Contract deliverables including CDRL submission and tracking (as required). Track and Coordinate (as required) special shipping requirements with freight forwarders and ADS operational team to meet contractual milestones Assist with shipping documentation - commercial invoices, packing slips, and valued inventory. Review, analyze, and negotiate subcontracts with assistance. Coordinate and participate weekly/bi-weekly syncs with internal teammates to track schedule, cost, performance of open orders.

Hours: 8 to 5 on the phone and email contacting customers, but extended hours are necessary when the customer needs arise. Some travel may be required for Trade Shows and occasional customer meetings.

Travel: 25-30%

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (experience may be substituted at hiring manager's discretion). Superb written and oral communication skills a must, extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel desired. Experience resolving contract modifications. 5-7 years’ experience in a related position. 5 years’ experience in commercial or USG program management. Humble self-starter looking to constantly improve themselves and their team.

Superior organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Abe to work in an extremely fast-paced dynamic environment. Experience with US Government Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Programs. Defense Acquisition University (DAU) program management training. PMP accreditation.
