Northrop Grumman, Space Systems is currently seeking a Program Manager 1 for the Navy Demil program. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility located at the Bacchus Utah plant and includes interface with the Promontory Utah campus and the Air Force Utah Test and Training Range at Oasis (UTTR).

This position will have responsibility for program cost, schedule, technical execution, and coordination of storage and transportation of Navy demil assets and tooling. The program manager will coordinate all aspects of the demil program with Navy SSP and the UTTR as needed.
Roles and Key Responsibilities include:
Execute program successfully by managing cost, technical requirements, schedule, and risk with a priority on safety
Ensure contract compliance and execution of SOW requirements including timely CDRL submittals
Oversee demil planning and execution including transportation of assets, pre-season preparations, scheduling, coordination with Air Force personnel, and asset management with an overall priority on safety
Represent NGSC as a company, bringing the NGSC message to the customer; and integrating knowledge of the spectrum of NGSC capabilities with understanding of customer needs to promote NGSC
Meet company and customer requirements while balancing the multiple roles and differing requirements
Understanding of proposal process and execution to RFP and SOW requirements
Maintain close working relationships with the FBM program office, customers, plant operations, and Bacchus research operations (BRO)
Basic Qualifications:
Be experienced in project management, resource management, and strategic planning
Continuously drive for results
Have the capacity to understand people/technical issues impacting the programs
Possess the proven ability to provide verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively
Understand problems and issues in the context of the bigger picture and work solutions in advance to mitigate schedule issues
Understanding and experience with the FBM culture and the Navy customer
Experience with proposals, finance, and scheduling
Education and Experience Requirements
BS degree in business management or technical field
5 years of Project/Program Management experience
General knowledge of financial systems, budgeting, managing EAC’s
Familiarity with PS factory operations (Bacchus and Promontory)
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders/customers

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
