Candidates should possess a passion for public health, health information, and health equity, and have experience in program management and evaluation. Candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Education and Literacy. Candidate will be based at the Main Library and will be expected to travel throughout Davidson County. Typical Duties + Coordinating high quality health programs across the library system. + Planning and attending health fairs and community health events. + Assisting with marketing and promotion of wellness programs and resources. + Supporting branches with health-themed displays and distributing timely print and digital collateral from community health partners. + Creating content for NPL blog, social media, and monthly Be Well at NPL newsletter. + Coordinating training opportunities for NPL staff related to health reference, health literacy, and other health topics. + Building and maintaining relationships with community partners. + Participating in local public health committees and working groups. + Responsible for program data collection, analysis, and grant reporting. + Tracking spending for program budget. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of supervisory and/or administrative experience in public health or a health related field. OR Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of supervisory and/or administrative experience in public health or a health related field. REQUIRED LICENSES: Valid “Class D” Driver’s License may be required for some positions in this classification.
