AMD together we advance_ PROGRAM MANAGER 2 THE ROLE: We are in search of an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic ecosystems. THE PERSON: As a Program Manager you will partner with our cross functional teams to manage customer accounts and their portfolio, understand our customers platforms/solutions. Identify and document customer requirements and establish engineering schedules. Drive AMD product solution deliverables and alignment with customers’ platforms to ensure highest level customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle. Responsibilities: Responsible for build/release management for multiple MI products : build processes, build monitoring, break/fix management through end of life Coordinate a stable and reliable weekly & PI BIOS Liaise & provide status reports on firmware readiness & status. Manage risks and issues related to releases. Work closely with team of Developers, FW engineers, automation team and Project Managers to meet firmware engineering build and release requirements Partner with FW developers and use various scripting languages to build software from scratch upload to artifacts Have a strong understanding of source code management, build/release engineering related tools/concepts Be proficient in system administration, configuration, customization, and maintenance of Atlassian tools: Jira/Confluence Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure release readiness. Coordinate deployment activities and post-release support. Implement release management best practices and tools. Initiates significant changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiencies Release Notes management Drive continuous improvement in release processes and technologies. Requirements: Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. Aligned to our core values Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation Experienced in Tools/Technologies (admin level knowledge preferred): GIT/Jenkins/Gerrit Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong analytical and decision-making abilities A professional 5-7 years' experience in build/release management: build processes, build monitoring, break/fix management #LI-SK3 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
