 Position Summary

The Project Management Office (PMO) for Munchkin and Curio owns the entire New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to launch. The Program Manager will oversee and manage the execution of all projects across Global Markets (e.g. EMEA and Asia) and is key to the successful development and launch of products. This individual will not only lead and oversee complex programs but will also be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers within our organization.

What You’ll Do:

The Program Manager will oversee and manage the execution of all projects across Global Markets (e.g. EMEA and Asia) and is key to the successful development and launch of products. This individual will not only lead and oversee complex programs but will also be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers within our organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Manage commercialization of major projects (i.e. new product development, product changes) in collaboration with Marketing, Product Development, Engineering, Compliance, Costing, Brand Design & other departments  Conduct high-level requirements sessions with cross-functional teams to capture specific project objectives, scope, and deliverables  Develop comprehensive project plans, processes, and workflows for efficiency and flawless execution, establishing appropriate ownership for all deliverables  Contribute to thoughtful and creative discussions with departments and management on resource and scheduling, team prioritization, plans, and challenges Lead root cause/mitigation analyses, negotiate, and resolve team & project conflicts Proactively identify upcoming risks, inefficiencies, issues, and bottlenecks by working with global cross-functional teams Lead project meetings and monthly meetings (develop agenda, run/moderate meetings, and capture decisions made) Provide overall leadership, guidance, and management of all phases of the assigned programs and projects Manage, train, and coach other Project Managers within the PMO Team Oversee Project Manager(s) adherence to and compliance with standards/requirements within PMO Other duties may be assigned

Bring It!   

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience required 7+ years of demonstrated Project/ Program Management experience in a consumer-oriented company (e.g. Branded consumer goods, Automotive, Consumer Electronics, etc.) 7+ years of Hands-on experience in developing products, and processes and working in manufacturing environments  7+years of experience effectively managing multiple programs or projects involving cross-functional and international teams (Asia/ EMEA) Ability to influence at all levels and with both internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated understanding of product development and how cross-functional processes affect product launch Ability to drive high-quality output at a high pace and deal with a high level of ambiguity Must thrive in a dynamic, changing, and fast-paced environment Experience with tools such as Workfront is preferred Have used Lean/Six Sigma methodologies Experience working on both OEM and ODM processes

Salary: 145,000-160,000 (DOE) 

This position will work in our beautiful corporate office. Munchkin’s Hybrid Schedule allows employees to work in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Tuesday and Friday.
