Program Manager - Position Description

ICI Services is looking for a motivated individual who wants to provide support to a major Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) at the historic Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.  A hybrid and/or remote schedule may be available with government approval. We are an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment to government customers. We need a Program Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.  

Security Clearance:

Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Manage the programs strategic and organizational planning and execution processes. Monitor, review, and assess changes in DoD, DoN, NAVSEA, PEO Ships and other key stakeholder strategic plans to ensure the programs plans, policies, and objectives are in alignment. Coordinate with the program’s leadership in recommending and establishing strategic goals and objectives. Draft policy and leadership correspondence associated with strategic direction and guidance. conduct detailed technical analysis of shipbuilding industrial base issues and provide recommendations on effective performance measures associated with shipbuilding, conversion, and repair activities. provide business assessments on primary industrial base partners, and recommend technical standards associated with shipbuilding, conversion, and repair that may be applied across programs. 

Experience Requirements:

10 years of experience with DoD acquisition processes, in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management. 5 years supervisory experience 5 years of experience with strategic planning, performance assessments and analysis, culture and climate assessments and analysis, and business transformation efforts. Experience with policies, procedures, and performance measures for shipbuilding, maintenance, and repair.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in related field, or seven of 10 years of experience was gained because of in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in the related field.
