Summary About the Position: Serve as a Branch Chief Program Manager, Ordnance and Explosives Directorate, Chemical Warfare Materiel Design Center, responsible for the vertical and horizontal integration of products to manage the assigned programs for the Center. Responsibilities Management responsibilities involve projects/programs requiring substantial chemical warfare materiel, military munitions, ranges, and environmental technical effort. Provide leadership in establishing and maintaining effective management processes and a work environment conducive to effective integration of technical function. Assure that corporate goals are established for schedule, cost, scope, and budget in the Program Management Plan (PMP). Assist in preparation, compilation, review, analysis, and submission of all program data required for the Center's program budget and business plan. Supervise a staff of project managers, administrative personnel, and support team members. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) providing oversight of the planning and processes of programs for chemical munitions design projects; 2) monitoring a program budget; 3) managing program resource utilization (funds and manpower); and 4) supervising and directing the work assignments of personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
