Steampunk is seeking Program Managers who are technical, creative, and hands-on experts in delivering innovative technology solutions. Ideal candidates will thrive working with clients in a consultative capacity and will have experience managing teams of technical personnel to build systems anchored around our core technologies offerings (Salesforce, Databricks, Google Cloud, Mulesoft, Tableau, etc). Responsibilities will include leadership of teams for the complete lifecycle of solution development and deployment, from hands-on proposal technical support to prototyping client implementations and complete production deployment. This individual will ensure effective end-to-end solution design, including integration with other technologies and solutions, driving high client satisfaction with the final solutions.

As a Program Manager, you will be the leader, driving delivery in a government client consulting environment.  You will be a client manager, coach, mentor, and accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading deployments of solutions in a client environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

Leadership. If you don't know the difference between that and management, this just isn't going to work out. Located in Washington DC Metro Area (No remote / travel)5+ Years working in technology5+ Years leading in consulting servicesProven experience in leading the deployment of enterprise and custom Software solutions in client environmentsDemonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problemsProven experience growing and selling while deliveringExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skillsStrong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversityProven team player and team builderStrong organizational and analytical skillsExperience working with Human Center DesignA degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology, and a proven background in consulting and project managementPMP, Scrum Master certification preferredFederal Clearance preferred (Ability to get one is required) About steampunk

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
