Program Manager
Job Details:

Job Summary : The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of programming for equity, inclusion and diversity across the WMCHealth Network. This position has direct accountability to ensure goals are met and maintained. The Program Manager will serve as a trusted resource to support the overall strategy by way of program implementation and monitoring of progress to goal while building out systems and content that help the team and organization reach essential milestones.

Responsibilities:

Create project charters, project plans, change management plans (including communication and training plans), and establish processes to continually monitor program progress. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project scope, design, required resources/SME support, deliverables, and ROI. Develops proposals that outline feasibility and costs; suggests, designs, tests, implements, and evaluates solutions. Design and manage resources to keep projects on track; Manage and track budget spend and status on EID annual objectives. Provide a wide range of advisory and technical services for members of the team and internal stakeholders. Monitor initiatives/programs/projects including the maintenance of accurate documentation and ensure any changes to scope are documented and approved. Determine program/project reporting tools and scorecards Report out synthesis of data including report outs after meetings, and help interpret and organize essential data gathered. Facilitate collaborative discussions to drive progress and cross-functional touch points to evaluate crucial pieces of information from various internal and external sources to develop strategic options and ensure clarity, focus and alignment to the EID strategy. Contribute to the development of operating policies to adhere to regulatory and legal requirements. Conduct special projects based on operational needs. Develop short- and long-range plans to meet project requirements and establish implementation criteria. Contribute to the development of training programs for in-service training and professional development for personnel where activities are related to the work of the office. Develop and implement evaluation tools to evaluate program effectiveness; devise evaluation methodology; analyze results and recommend and/or take appropriate action. Manage the preparation of proposals for funding and/or funding continuation. Prepare reports, financial statements and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies. Represent the office in meetings and plan and facilitate seminars, meetings or conferences; coordinate logistics, scheduling and participant communications. Develop and oversee the resources including but not limited to SharePoint site, partner tools, action plans, job aids, work visualization, and other resources as needed. Research and report out on data and findings across the industry that will help the team remain relevant and informed of best practices locally, nationally and globally. Develop and maintain insights pertaining to future trends, assumptions, and potential business impact to support business goals and objectives. Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management. Preference given to individuals with DEI project management experience in a public health, health regulatory or health services related organization or program.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired. Licenses / Certifications N/A

Other:

Knowledge of, appreciation for, and history of involvement in DEI initiatives, community service and/or board work Excellent planning, organizing and follow-up skills Effective verbal and written skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Independent self-starter, proactive, independent critical thinking Able to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Critical problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially intermediate to advanced in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with project management tools
