Program Manager

Brief Description

The Program/Project Manager, who will be based at our Downers Grove, IL, site works closely with our Marketing Director and commercial team to manage various customer and market specific projects focusing on developing and growing our business in Aerospace.  This position provides product and market analysis and supports field account managers with program calls, product materials, and statistical analysis.  This position will assist our Marketing Director in identifying key market strategies and communicating findings via accurate demand forecasts to the business for enhanced operating efficiencies.  The Program/Project Manager will establish and maintain consistent communications with the appropriate parties across customer organizations to maintain real time awareness of voice of customer (VOC).  This is a key role on our commercial team and the Program/Project Marketing Manager will be expected to support the company strategic deployment process to drive results and outcomes. The successful candidate is able to manage change, lead through influence, and drive process improvements by using an analytical, hands-on approach.  This position reports to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing and Strategy.

Key Accountabilities

Managers the New Product Launch process for products related to the Aerospace marketCollaborates with the Aerospace Solutions Sales Team, as well as the commercial team to expand associated product line market presenceManage various projects as directed by Sr. Director of MarketingLeads activities and collaborates with Product Line managers to create strategic pricing, profitability analytics, value proposition, growth strategies of associated product line and identification of cross-sell opportunitiesTracks / reports market share trends and conducts / reports SWOT analysis of associated product lineSales Management – drive account strategies, action plans, follow-up, drive accountabilitySales Enablement – collateral, training, customer visits / proposalsParticipate in budget, strategic planningContributes to customer profiles and CRMManage the New product launch process to maximize applications winsNew Applications Management – metrics, priorities, dimensioning, win strategiesOpportunity Management – manage funnel, metrics, keys for success, find opportunitiesDrive customer satisfaction / loyalty cultureSupport acquisition strategy and data gatheringIdentify VA/VE OpportunitiesManaging the proposal process
