We are looking for a passionate Program Manager to lead an amazing team of disrupters. The Program Manager will be responsible for leading cross functional and technical teams to drive projects from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Specific Responsibilities:

Ensures team(s) maintains focus on quality and continuous deliveryProvides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progressCreates Roadmaps and Milestone charts for the projectBe well managed – understand and coach the team on delivery controls, compliance to minimize operational, and reputational riskUnderstands domain architecture and targets to identify upstream and downstream dependencies and to support the team in risk managementProactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)Integrates Agile and Lean principles into team practices and work productsCoaches Product Owner and team on backlog refinement and prioritizationCoaches the team to improve collaboration and self-organizationUtilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improveAssess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the clientWe need more than just a coach, we need someone who will also roll up their sleeves and deliver too.Innovates with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve the team and their deliveryDeveloping understanding and encouragement of team’s innovation and improvement Prepare and deliver effective communications both verbally and orally regarding progress and status for both internal and client teamsPerform hands-on project work, including analysis, design and change management, as needed by the project Qualifications

Required

Coaches Product Owner and team on backlog refinement and prioritization

Coaches the team to improve collaboration and self-organization

Proven experience of leading the deployment of enterprise and custom Software solutions in client environmentsDemonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problemsAssess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the clientProven experience growing and selling while deliveringExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skillsStrong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversityProven team player and team builderStrong organizational and analytical skills10+ Years working in technology5+ Years leading in consulting servicesA degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and a proven background in consulting and project managementPMP, Scrum Master certification requiredFederal Clearance Preferred (Ability get one is required)Located in Washington, DC Metro area

Preferred

Experience working with Human Center DesignExperience with one or more clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle)Experience working in a Health Science Program

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
