The team

As a part of Product Engineering Services practice, we are looking for talented Program Manager to join us to contribute to practice initiatives and keep current in the latest technology developments in the Cloud and Product Engineering space.

The role

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple, interrelated work-streams within a program for Enterprise Platform Products.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define program objectives, roadmap, scope, and success criteria.
Develop and manage program roadmaps, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Coordinate with team leads to ensure that individual project deliverables are integrated into the overall program plan.
Responsible for communication and reporting of the Program status to all stakeholders including C-Suite Executives.
Develop and implement project strategies that align with business priorities and drive value.
Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including executives, customers, and external partners.
Facilitate regular communication and updates to stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing concerns.
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
Proactively address and resolve program-related challenges to minimize impact on delivery.
Monitor and track projects' performance using key metrics and performance indicators.
Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and achievements.
Continuously assess and improve project management processes and methodologies.
Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
Optimize resource utilization and address any resource gaps or conflicts.

What you’ll bring

10-12 years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of managing complex programs and large teams.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with budget management and financial forecasting.
Proficiency in project management tools and software preferred using JIRA.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $140k-$150k base+ bonus. 

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
