Program Manager

Arizona State University is seeking a Program Manager for Event and Meeting Services in the Memorial Union.  The Program Manager will support the academic mission of the University by performing work of considerable difficulty in coordinating and directing the activities and functions of Event and Meeting Services. This position independently ensures that the goals and objectives of Event and Meeting Services are accomplished in accordance with priorities, time limitations, funding limitations and other specifications.

The Program Manager of Event and Meeting Services supports the larger Student Services vision to ensure the Memorial Union and Student Pavilion remain high-quality, student run facilities.
Under the direction of the Director for Student Unions and Centers, this position has responsibility for the scheduling and reporting for daily operations of the Memorial Union, Student Pavilion and the surrounding exterior spaces. The position is responsible for management of events and guests for the Memorial Union and Student Pavilion. The Program Manager provides leadership to the Event Coordinator team and fosters relationships with student organizations, academic and staff departments and the external community to deliver an exceptional experience in the Memorial Union and the Student Pavilion.

Bachelor's degree in a related field AND five years administrative/coordination experience; OR, Master's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND three years administrative/coordination experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
