KBR is seeking a Program Manager for the Mission IT Solutions Division (MITS), who will report to the MITS VP and lead the execution of strategic insider threat program that supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Primary objective will be the delivery of programmatic and technical services, all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals. This position is a supervisory role and will manage multiple direct reports supporting the programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage KBR personnel on day-to-day execution of program priorities.Prepare and submit input to timely contract deliverables, including Integrated Master Schedules, program status reports, financial information and general program management items.Utilize sound business judgement when making KBR-binding decisionsCultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community.Establishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external organizationsCollaborating with functional teams that help support the program and to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectivesMeasuring and reporting program performance internally to company management and to customersDelivering papers and presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholdersProviding thought leadership and expert consulting to customers to advance program objectivesParticipating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditionsDevelopment and adherence to master spend plans and schedulesConducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realizationCoaching and supervising direct reports including their time and deliverables to the customerPersonnel management of the projects to include posting job reqs, interviewing, hiring and firing personnel

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, engineering, science, psychology, social science or related field from an accredited college or university12 years of related experience, OR a Master’s degree and 10 years of related experienceActive Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCIRelated experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers, performing as program manager planning, directing, executing, and controlling the development, test, integration, implementation and deployment of complex IT systems.10 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as a program manager.10 years of demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goalsExperience in the development, integration, and implementation of user activity monitoring systems.Experience working directly with government customers on contracts in excess of $100M annually and managing relationships with commercial services vendorsProject Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

DHS HQ work and leadership experienceKnowledge of insider threat applied counter intelligence expertise, user activity monitoring and user entity behavior analysis programs, process and procedures.Communication: The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needsIssue & Problem Resolution: The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the programRequirements: The ability to define, document, analyze, trace, prioritize, and confirm requirements throughout the entire program life cycleRisk & Opportunity: The ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling plans, and manages, controls, and communicates risks and opportunities throughout the lifecycle of the program
