Program Manager
Job Description This role supports Continued Engineering efforts, making enhancements based on customer feedback or internal evaluations. The position spans multiple programs, platforms, and clients, including GM, Nissan, Honda, and Hyundai. Job Duties: · Drive project execution from scope alignment through delivery. · Work closely with Engineering leadership to establish and clarify product and program objectives to ensure development teams have the guidance and resources necessary to succeed. · Ensure schedule-resource alignment by creating comprehensive project schedules with long lead and functional dependencies. Communicate schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks across teams and to all stakeholders. Plan and direct schedules for a group of products overtime. · Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts with internal teams and external partners. · Manage budgets/spend and coordinate with internal partners. Estimate and manage program and product costs including labor, materials, tools, outsource services, and other direct expenses to budget. · Establish communication plans interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment on scope and decisions. Communicate project status regularly to stakeholders including status reporting to the development team, management, and customers. Keep executives and business teams updated on project timelines and results. · Manage software and hardware integration points to meet product development and validation requirements. · Coordinate successful project transitions to Manufacturing including early Engineering prototype and production builds. Day To Day Activities: · Manage amplifier development deliverables in accordance with the project plan. · Identify project risks and work with the team to actively mitigate and manage. · Plan and manage resources and program budget. · Communicate with and drive progress across internal and external development teams. · Lead team level and executive level status meetings.
