Program Manager
Job Description: Program Manager

The Program Manager (PM) role is a full-time onsite position in Janesville, WI. The PM will lead and influence program teams, and will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and implementation of various ammunition system projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery within budget parameters. Daily tasks include program planning, resource allocation, risk management, and communication with internal and external program stakeholders. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve goals and successes.

• Works closely with customers and suppliers to ensure strategies and priorities are communicated and well executed within the assigned programs.

• Leads cross-functional teams of Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, etc. to achieve program successes.

• Oversees the development and management of the cross-functional, technology-led, focused programs.

• Influences the programs to meet customer expectations.

• Creates and ensures effective and efficient communication across business functions; motivates and energizes the team through leadership.

• Solves complex and ambiguous problems leading the strategic and forward-thinking cross-functional program execution including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, supply chain integration into production delivery.

• Works with customers to solicit product feedback to meet product quality and customer expectations.

• Provides mentoring and coaching to develop cross-functional talent.

• Provides expert guidance and support to the product program organization in various technical/functional aspects of research, engineering, supply chain, and service.

• Drives a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, accountability, continual improvement, and collaboration.

Schedule: 7am-5pm normal workday with an hour lunch. Four nine-hour days and then Friday is 8 hours. 7am-4pm every Friday you do work. Have off every other Friday. Could do more flexible hours within an hour each way as long as you’re consistent.

Each program has a team to an extent (contracts team, mechanical, manufacturing, quality engineers)… but not exclusive as they support other projects.
