HBK Engineering is seeking a Program Manager. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a project team consisting of professional engineers, project engineers and designers who are involved in the design, modification, and analysis of new and existing utility systems. A senior engineering project manager is responsible for managing staff, providing leadership, and assessing project deadlines and financial expenditures for large-scale engineering projects.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Lead and work with a team to identify all project and program risks and develop mitigation strategiesPrepare budgets, bids, contracts, funding requests, and communication plansManage, supervise, and schedule execution of projectsMonitor projects' productivity, quality, and progressEnsure project safety and remain within projects' cost constraintsLead, support and direct project managers, project engineers, and assistants in planning, scheduling, and implementation of designs and testingReport all project updates to the clients and make recommendations based on their professional education and experienceDevelop and manage client relationships, including assurance of prompt response to client needsManage, develop, and evaluate resources within the project teamLead Safety initiatives as needed by the organizationManage, monitor, and maintain contracts related to projectsManage financials and metrics related to projectsTravel Required as neededMinimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical disciplineMinimum of 10 years of experience in the industryProfessional Engineering license preferredTechnical expertise related to managing projects in the public right-of-way in our industry Essential SkillsAbility to adhere to strict safety regulationsAbility to implement and maintain policiesStrong technical writing abilityAbility to work under time-sensitive deadlinesKnowledge in common computer applications such as the Microsoft Office suiteExperience with the planning and/or design of utility infrastructure projects is desiredProficient in MS Office productsProficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStationProficient in DeltekBackground Check and Drug Testing Information
