Responsibilities Oversee and be responsible for all aspects of a fast-pacing project serving as direct interface with the client, managing project schedules, milestones, deliverables and budget in accordance with Federal, VA standards and guidelines.  Ensure quality customer service, provide guidance on technical solutions, and maintain a good working relationship with all customer staff, in support of the program.  Prepare for and conduct meetings, presentations and briefings related to all phases of the product lifecycle, while ensuring program goals of the VA and TISTA are met.  Manage complex project-related issues and the implementation of solutions that involve the architecture and design, schedule, technology, methodology, tools, human centered design, components and change management including client walk-throughs, user acceptance testing and required documentation.  Provide applications business and systems analysis, support long and short-range plans for product selection, requirements analysis, systems development, maintenance and operations following the systems lifecycle including production releases.  Participate in PI Planning activities to ensure product and business owner requirements are metServe as liaison to business and technical stakeholders to ensure success of the project. Qualifications 8+ Years of experience in the leading of IT projects  5 Years of experience managing products, similar in size, scope, and complexityStrong technical and business understanding of agile developmentExperience with Product Line Management, preferred  Good understanding of security related policies, procedures, regulations.Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives and deadlinesStrong interpersonal and human relations skillsExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnelAbility to work with people of varied technical backgrounds and management levelsSolid technical integration skillsProven analytical skillsAbility to read, analyze and interpret business requirements, system documentation, and technical proceduresUnderstanding of cloud environments (MS Azure, AWS) and experience with migration of systems to the cloudAbility to quickly learn new tools supporting project management applying agile and SAFe methodologiesAwareness of VA approved governance model, IT Infrastructure frameworks, Technical Reference Model, operating environments, infrastructure and application performance monitoring toolsets, and Government compliance regulations (NIST,FISMA, 508, and similar IT, OMB and congressional mandates)

 

Education:

Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, related scientificTechnical Discipline, or equivalent PLUS 15 Years of experienceTen (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

 

Clearance: 

The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation

Remote, USAMonday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST)

 

Pay Range:

The pay for this position ranges from $95,730 to $105,500The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and locationAlso, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonusesTISTA associates are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits plan!
