Program Manager will provide daily oversight of full program implementation for all annual and period goals and objectives of the community action plan, as well as the strategies outlined in the communications plan to achieve immediate, intermediate and long term outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in public health promotion, program management or other related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Master of Public Health Degree Experience in physical activity promotion, health coaching and/or policy, systems and environmental change (PSE) strategies is strongly encouraged. Job Duties Description of Job Duty Responsible for assisting in the planning, administering, reviewing and evaluating of physical activity-focused community engagement, partnership building, training, and data collected activities of SHLI and the PRC. Manage the planning and execution of multi-sector collaborative community assessment and environmental scan activities. Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and community mobilization activities for peer-mediated Community Physical Activity Ambassadors Program. Manage training, data collection activities, data maintenance, and data interpretation for a Community Wellness Asset & Hazard Mapping Initiative. Participates in writing, developing and implementation of communication plans and proposals. Manages and supports community-based participatory activities affiliated with the grant to include data collection, evaluation and community outreach.
Assist with the designs and implementation of project marketing, communications, and outreach activities. Objectively advises Research Associate and Associate Director on system, and administrative weaknesses, challenges, strengths and priorities through biweekly meetings and monthly reports.
