Responsibilities Develops, implements and manages a functional restoration pain management program delivered in the home and community modelDevelops policies and procedures to address functional restorative pain management population in tandem with existing home and community policies and procedures as outlined by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities standardsParticipates in the admissions process including patient selection, funding sources, staffing and overall processDirects the provision of all clinical services to maximize program efficiency, effectiveness, quality of patient care and patient satisfaction. Ensures service delivery is in accordance with timelines and levels authorizedDirects staff recruitment and development activities and conducts ongoing skill evaluations to ensure the quality and accuracy of their workManages the clinical documentation process to ensure that the patient/client’s clinical record meets company, legal and regulatory requirements, facilitates care, enhances the continuity of care, and demonstrates patient/client functional progressHelps develop market assessment, budget, and business/strategic plan, sales/marketing strategies and sales presentations to ensure the growth of programWorks with the Executive Director to negotiate/establish local contracts with referral sources, third party payers, state/provincial/local governments, and ensure profitability and the effective servicing of all assigned contractsMonitors program expenditures and adherence to Company policies through the implementation of controlsOversees and participates in local quality assurance and performance improvement activities and ensures that all requirements are completed and shared with leadership within designated timelinesEnsures the program is in substantial compliance with all applicable licensure, accreditation and certification standards and oversees program evaluation processes and completion of annual program evaluation reportAdheres to standards of the Company's Code of Conduct, policies, Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act and Corporate Compliance programs and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal lawPerforms all duties inherent in a supervisory and managerial roleParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Maintains current state licensure of professional disciplineMinimum of five years clinical experience requiredKnowledge of and experience with functional restoration, pain management rehabilitation techniques requiredCommunity health and/or home healthcare supervision and governmental home health agency regulations experience is desiredMinimum of two years of work experience in management positionExcellent organization, problem solving, decision making and communication skills Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to/from patient, community and other locations About our Line of Business ResCare Community Living has four decades of experience in the disability services field, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disability.
