Summary: The NGB Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that address substance abuse and suicide prevention within the National Guard. The Program Manager will provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure that the National Guard complies with federal regulations and military directives while promoting the health and well-being of its members. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Review and approve all required products and deliverables Be responsive to COR-HRS, COR-RA, and KO questions and requests Review contract execution to identify problems and ensure that the Government is provided timely notification of funding or execution related issues Responsible for the performance of the work and contract compliance Be on site at NGB HQ in Arlington VA for client meetings or as otherwise required Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of substance abuse and suicide prevention strategies, interventions, and best practices Knowledge of federal regulations, military policies, and healthcare systems related to mental health and substance use disorders Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate program outcomes and make informed decisions Minimum Qualifications: Master’s in business administration, Social Work, or similar degree and 10 years’ experience in managing programs or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Social Work or similar degree from an accredited school, 3-9 years’ experience in managing programs, and 10 years’ experience with the military Be able to pass a background check and obtain a Common Access Card Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing large, geographically dispersed team Pay and Benefits At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
