Position Overview The International Procurement group is seeking a Program Manager to join their team! Key Duties: Facilitation and Support: Oversee and support procurement activities in product development programs to ensure business objectives are achieved. Cross-Functional Representation: Represent Procurement on cross-functional program teams for small programs and support larger programs. Sourcing and Quoting: Facilitate overall sourcing, quoting, target cost, tooling, and part readiness. Internal Collaboration: Support internal teams, including engineering, supplier quality, materials availability, and aftermarket contracts. This is a highly visible, challenging, and rewarding position in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Procurement Management: Oversee and support procurement requirements for product implementation and program launches from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal customers and department personnel. Program Representation: Represent Procurement on program teams for small programs. Communication: Relay program information to the Procurement organization and ensure assignments are completed to support program goals. Sourcing and Quoting: Facilitate overall sourcing, quoting, target cost, tooling, and part readiness. Collaboration: Work with Category Management and Tooling teams on piece cost and tooling targets to drive cost-effective solutions. Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential issues, manage changes proactively, and ensure projects are on time and within budget. Implementation Follow-Through: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and follow through on implementation. Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver informative and persuasive presentations to large groups, cross-functional teams, and executive audiences. Must be comfortable with public speaking. Cost Analysis: Analyze product costs, understand underlying cost drivers, and implement cost reduction initiatives to maximize savings. Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and management. Liaison Role: Act as the procurement liaison to Quality, Service Parts, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments. Minimum Requirements At least 4 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience OR Bachelor’s degree At least 2 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience OR Master’s degree Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Project Management Skills: Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Multi-Tasking and Problem-Solving: Ability to multi-task, anticipate and solve problems, prioritize workloads, and shift resources as needed. Quick Learner: Ability to quickly learn new concepts. Program Management Experience: Previous experience managing small product development programs/projects or supporting large product development programs/projects. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with truck and/or engine products and components is desirable. Procurement Experience: Previous procurement experience is desirable.
