Program Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team to plan, coordinate, direct, and report on various IT and IT adjacent projects supporting large-scale government programs. As a Program Manager, you will report to the Program Director and collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to successfully drive projects to completion. This is a hybrid position and requires onsite work in DC, MD, VA area. 

 

Responsibilities: 

- Manage projects throughout their life cycle and drive projects to completion 

- Coordinate between customer contacts, team resources, direct team members, partners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders on all aspects of the projects 

- Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for project completion 

- Design project plans which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel 

- Oversee project team members and assign tasks and responsibilities 

 

Requirements: 

- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field or applicable work experience 

- Secret security clearance 

- Project Management Professional certification 

- Eight years of program management experience, preferably in the government sector 

- Knowledge of project management methodologies i.e., Agile, Scrum, Lean 

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders 

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. 

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities 

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines and complete projects 

 

As a Program Manager, you will fill a critical role in completing IT and IT adjacent projects supporting large-scale government programs. Your expertise in Program Management and your ability to drive teams to successful project completion will contribute to the achievement of program objectives. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, interacting with various stakeholders.
