Executive Education is responsible for the development and management of all the school’s non-degree program offerings. The mission of our organization is to “use GSB faculty ideas to inspire global leaders to change their thinking and drive positive impact throughout their organizations.” Executive Education also provides an ideal vehicle for the GSB to experiment with innovation in both content and pedagogy.

GSB Executive Education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business seeks a Program Manager. You will be part of the GSB Executive Education team and plan and execute multiple high-touch online and on-campus executive education programs for senior corporate executives. In addition to face-to-face programs, we offer online courses that include asynchronous, synchronous, and combinations of all modalities.

This is a continuing full-time (40 hours per week) position where the work can be performed with the expectation of being onsite 2-5 days per week. Full-time onsite will be required at different times during the year based on the program's needs. Work is expected outside of the normal 8 am - 5 pm workday to support program operations and events.

 

Your primary responsibilities include: Serve as the key logistics contact for assigned face-to-face programs by managing all aspects of logistics, including facilities, lodging, food, evaluations, program materials, and amenities. Implement, administer, and evaluate the program's day-to-day activities by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, interpreting policies, developing, revising, and implementing procedures, formulating and evaluating alternative solutions, and making recommendations. Manage online learning platforms and facilitate Zoom sessions which may include polls, breakout rooms, and recordings. Facilitate weekly teaching team calls between the faculty instructor and the contracted course facilitators. Work alongside faculty to produce live online sessions for executive participants (prep the agenda, slides, and presenters for the session, set up for the session’s technology needs, be behind the scenes for faculty and participants during the session, and post the session’s recording afterward). Note: These sessions tend to require hours slightly outside of the university's normal business hours. Provide technical support, course progress encouragement, and course advising for executive participants. Set up, distribute, and summarize course evaluations; collect and analyze data, create reports, and reconcile expenses. Manage, train, and track course facilitators/coaches. Prepare online courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) and documents for the teaching team (roster/gradebook, weekly meeting notes, weekly expected tasks based on the course outline, etc.)

 

To be successful in this position, you will bring: Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Project management background or a solid ability to balance numerous projects. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where the team seeks innovations, efficiencies and new technology solutions. Work with various audiences (from tenured faculty to seasoned contract facilitators/coaches and global executive learners as well as internal colleagues. Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Comfort with working both independently and as part of a team.

 

The expected pay range for this position is $99,015-$115,000 per year.
