The **Program Manager** shall provide sufficient management to ensure that the tasks are performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the requirements and deliverables. The Program Manager is an essential component to successfully fulfilling OIMT goals and objectives and ensuring compliance with laws governing federal IT management and standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage all operation aspects of Program Activity, including cost management, schedule management, data management, proposal activity, and other related program activities.
+ Serve as a principal liaison with current and prospective program customers.
+ Plan, schedule, organize, and administer program tasks, budgets, and schedules.
+ Prepare a weekly status report that provides information on Outstanding issues relating to technician IT Operations, Site service, current and upcoming special projects, and schedule changes for leave, vacation, or unscheduled events.
+ Prepare a monthly status report that provides information on Accomplishments, Issues/Resolutions, planned Activities, number of Tickets Processed by Region, Ticket Activity Statistics, Ticket Activity Statistic Charts, Ticket Analysis Statistics Summary, Open Tickets Summary, Open Ticket Explanation, Special Project Requests, Deliverables Summary/Schedule, and Staffing Efforts Update.
+ Continuously confer with OIMT COR in advance regarding staff changes to include vacation schedules, termination, and new hires. Additionally, shall work with the Federal Functional/Task Lead on Contractor staff attending meetings.
+ Plan, schedule, organize, and administer program tasks, budgets, and schedules.
+ Direct and oversee project engineering teams and manage conflicts within a group.
+ Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
+ Manage complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
+ Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree related to Information Technology field of study, in addition to required experience below. 8+ years of IT program management may be substituted for the degree requirement.
+ 5+ years of project management or IT Management.
+ 3+ years of experience coordinating and/or supporting IT business processes.
+ Must possess experience managing complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
+ PMP Certification is preferred
+ Background check required
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Must possess experience managing complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
+ Ability to define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
+ Ability to define and schedule project/program implementations.
+ Demonstrated experience in risk mitigation and contingency planning.
+ Experience in planning and scheduling project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
+ Extensive experience in directing and overseeing project engineering teams and managing conflicts within a group.
+ Ability to perform team assessments and evaluations.
+ Ability to efficiently and effectively identify and solve project issues.
+ Demonstrated leadership to define requirements for project risk.
+ Ability to design and maintain technical and project documentation.
+ Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
+ Program Manager requires scheduling and budgeting experience to effectively and efficiently manage a large workforce.
+ Ability to travel to other locations may be requested.
+ Ability to occasionally support special projects. Special project work also includes any emergency-type weekend, evening, or holiday work that might be requested that may or may not involve travel.
