The mission of Workplace Operations & Supply Chain is to provide Bloomberg with the best, most resilient support possible to enable our employees to achieve commercial and product goals and provide outstanding service to our customers. We are responsible for driving the strategy across our real estate portfolio, facilities and workplace experience operations, employee’s collaboration and technology solutions, employee support desk and the supply chain. The COO business plays a crucial role within Workplace Operations & Supply Chain, acting as the backbone of our operations. We are responsible for a wide range of strategic and operational management driven programs. We work closely with teams across our functions to develop and implement our strategic goals across our businesses. Our team is responsible for strategic business planning, organizational governance, program execution management, employee engagement and change management leadership.
We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the execution of various strategic initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver products and services within our portfolio. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our key business partners such as Engineering, Data, Corporate Technology, HR, Global Finance, UX and CTO, to align our strategy with their needs to achieve our shared business goals. Finally, you will work closely with Product Teams, Scrum Teams, Change Managers and third-party vendors to help guide the development of our product roadmaps, drive planning and execution of our strategic business initiatives that span multiple product teams across our businesses
We’ll Trust You To:
Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders particularly across businesses such as Engineering, Data, Corporate Technology, HR, Global Finance, UX, CTO and along with our product managers to align our initiatives to meet our shared program objectives Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle, applying the necessary program management discipline to amplify the vision, manage business expectations and help with prioritization and influence tradeoffs conversations Develop strategic project plans by defining the project scope with stakeholders and product managers to set clear objectives, curate and oversee timelines, deliverables and interdependencies across multiple teams and product roadmaps Oversee and manage program wide risks, interdependencies and cross team collaboration ensuring deliverables are completed Mentor and lead teams to consistently follow an incremental agile mindset delivery approach, for successful product launches Hold product teams accountable for delivery, empower effective time management ensuring teams work towards shared goals Act as an escalation for stakeholders, product teams, manage issues, anticipate risks and develop mitigation plans Collaborate with the Change Manager to incorporate change activities with our business plans Manage multiple programs at the same time and be able to shift priorities quickly when required Prioritize, plan, make decisions, ask the right questions and understand how manage resource effectively Cultivate a network of relationships to drive alignment across multi-disciplined teams, facilitate collaboration across businesses and departmental boundaries Work in an ambiguous fast paced, dynamic environment requiring good judgement, flexibility, and hands-on delivery Help drive process improvements efforts across multiple teams and adopt a user centric mindset to drive positive experience
You’ll Need to Have:
8+ years Program & Change Management experience leading technical SDLC system implementations Exposure in developing partnership with multiple stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams to influence & manage interactions At a minimum, we require that you are legally authorized to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the futureDemonstrated experience in driving process improvement initiatives that align to shared program goals Deep program management aptitude and an ability to understand and influence alternatives, tradeoffs to support execution Drive decision making through the curation of presentations and data in a multi-stakeholder environment Experience in managing schedules and driving collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams to develop roadmaps, project plans Outstanding written and verbal communications skills and an ability to work independently, stay resilient and remain adaptable Strong organization skills and eye for detail, balanced with an ability to summarize insights for Senior stakeholders Intellectual curiosity, creativity, change mindset and to get things done in an ambiguous and fast paced environment Highly organized, good problem-solving skills, working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, or Azure Big 4 consulting experience managing global system implementations and/or proven process improvement initiatives Results oriented, ability to follow through on tasks, influence without authority, experience driving senior level decision making Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
We’d Love to See:
Program Management Certification (i.e. PMI, Prince2) or Agile Scrum Certification (CSM, C-ASM) Certified Continuous Improvement Manager (CCIM), Certified CCMI Professional, Six Sigma SSGI or equivalent Hands-on experience with SDLC methodology or Agile Scrum framework implementing technical integration solutions Acute problem solving and analytical abilities including process improvements or program management techniques A hands-on leader who builds transparency, values collaboration, holds self and team accountable, empower the team to think beyond the tasks that drive value for the business Experience in full lifecycle Project/Program & Change management for large-scale ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Peoplesoft Previous experience in managing Capital Construction projects and implementing process improvements experience Salary Range = 110000 - 210000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
